GM Agrees To Pay $1M To Settle SEC Investigation Of Ignition Switches

Faulty parts are never fun to deal with, especially in your new car. While ignition switches aren’t a part that will decide your fate in a precarious situation, it is a hassle to have to take your new car in to have a part replaced, even if it is at no cost to you.

Although General Motors still isn’t admitting to any wrongdoing with regards to its 2014 ignition switch recall, it finally has agreed to a settlement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange commission.
